Sure, Piccolo entertained the idea of them being weaker than Trunks described, but then he never contradicted Trunks' claims that they were stronger than him Yes , but that should make Trunks much weaker than expected in their eyes Or, as Piccolo wondered; They have just become that much stronger from the 3 years of training.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	We know it doesn't refer to 19 and 20, but that's besides the point. We don't discover that in the story until later on, and neither do the Z Senshi. When the Z Senshi fight 19 and 20, they don't know that Trunks was speaking of different androids. But that's okay, we can put that aside. I use different evidence. Vegeta states that 19 post-absorption wasn't "as bad" as the rumors indicated (the rumors being that androids >>/>>> Trunks). Chapter 343 (DBZ 149), P7.4 Vegeta: “I’ve realized by watching your faint movements up to now…That you guys don’t seem as terrible as the rumors made out.” Chapter 343 (DBZ 149), P13.6 Context: after No.19 punches Vegeta, to little effect Vegeta: “I figured you were at about that level…” He doesn't outright denounce the rumors, he just says 19 isn't as bad as expected. He later confirms it when getting a taste of 19's power. So we end up with 19 post > Trunks as opposed to >>/>>> Trunks. 19 pre is far weaker than 19 post. Chapter 341 (DBZ 147), P14.6 Context: after No.19 absorbs Goku’s attack No.20: “Alright! No.19’s maximum power rating has greatly increased from what it was before!” So the full chain would be 19 post > Trunks >/>> 19 pre. 19 pre being below Trunks might not bode well with some, but whatever. Later when Piccolo fights 20 post he wonders about 2 things - a) Have the androids gotten weaker? b) Have we gotten too powerful? Chapter: 347 (DBZ 153), P3.2-3 Piccolo: “It seems that in the original history, we were supposed to be wiped out by you two androids…But it looks like the future has changed somehow…Was it that you weren’t as strong as we thought?...Or have we grown too strong?...” 'A' indicates that the androids are weaker than Trunks described; 'B' indicates that they are as strong as Trunks described, but the good guys have gotten even stronger than that. As the reader, we know that it's a combination of both - Piccolo wouldn't consider possibility 'B' if 20 post was weaker than Trunks. However, we learn later on that 20 (and 19) weren't the androids Trunks spoke of. Therefore, 20 post is strong enough that Piccolo would consider him to be a true android, but weak enough that there would still be doubt in Piccolo's mind. So, we can conclude that 20 post >> Trunks, maybe >>> Trunks, but that's not as likely. Vegeta was also surprised at 20's power after absorbing his chi blast (before absorbing Piccolo), so it can be inferred that even that version of 20 is a bit stronger 19 post. 20 post-Piccolo > 20 post-Vegeta ~> 19 post > Trunks >/>> 19 pre >=< Mecha Freeza. That's the chain I go by. --- I made a topic about it some time ago as well. Posts: 2,148 Group: Banned Member #5,120 Joined: August 9, 2010	I don't think 19/20 necessarily have to be above Trunks, but they could be. Trunks is the only question here, Freeza is an afterthought. I don't see how 19 can be compared to Freeza at all.
